I’ve spent my career building and scaling companies, backing bold founders, and shaping communities that last. As the former CEO of Beautycon Media, I helped grow a small creator gathering into a global platform for Gen Z and Millennial audiences, expanding representation and access across the beauty and wellness industries. During that time, I also partnered with Shopify’s leadership to integrate digital retail and commerce tools that helped transform Beautycon into one of the first hybrid models connecting content, community, and commerce.

Today, I’m the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Kinship Ventures, a multi-stage venture platform I built with Gwyneth Paltrow, backing high-agency founders reimagining how we live, work, and care. Kinship invests across Consumer Tech, AI, Fintech, CPG 2.0, and Health & Wellness Infrastructure, with a portfolio that includes OpenAI, MoonPay, Gemini, TeraWulf, Olipop, Vyrao, Caddis, and Goop Kitchen.

Before founding Kinship, I was a Partner at Intuition Capital, a seed-stage venture fund investing in early consumer and technology companies such as Poppi, Bonza, Public, Chroma, Starface, Bilt, and Owner.com.

Beyond venture, I’ve been recognized by Fast Company (Most Creative People in Business) and The Hollywood Reporter (Top 25 Digital Power Players), and I’m a Henry Crown Fellow at the Aspen Institute.

I’m also the founder of Global Freedoms and a founding member of the Iranian Diaspora Collective, initiatives advancing democracy, human rights, and digital freedom worldwide.

I live in Los Angeles with my wife, Professor Dr. Roya Rastegar, our two sons, and our Airedale.
